Explorando a Terapia de Reminiscência como Ferramenta de Reabilitação
Uma Revisão Integrativa sobre o Impacto em Estresse Agudo em Migrantes

O fenômeno da migração é complexo e decorre de uma variedade de determinantes que abrangem não apenas aspectos políticos, econômicos e ambientais, mas também fatores sociais, culturais e individuais. O estresse pode ser definido como a presença de ameaças fisiológicas ou psicológicas e agudas ou persistentes ao organismo que resultam em tensão significativa nos sistemas compensatórios do corpo. A neuroplasticidade é a capacidade do cérebro de remodelar os circuitos neurais através da experiência. A Terapia de Reminiscência aparece como alternativa à resolução de conflitos passados e alterações neuropsicológicas. Objetiva-se, com isso, explorar a produção científica internacional acerca dos impactos na saúde mental decorrentes da migração, bem como investigar potenciais aplicações da Terapia de Reminiscência como estratégia de intervenção. Baseado em todo este panorama, o presente artigo possui caráter de investigação qualitativa e foi desenvolvido a partir de uma revisão integrativa na literatura. Foram selecionados 21 artigos, sendo 4 correlacionando estresse e reminiscência, 16 correlacionando estresse e migração e 1 correlacionando migração e reminiscência de um total de 3015 encontrados na base de dados Medline. Outras fontes de informação foram utilizadas para localização de estudos não indexados, a saber: Google Scholar, Scielo e Open Grey. Por fim, pode-se dizer que o estresse tem um papel importante na diminuição da neuroplasticidade. Os resultados apresentados sugerem que a utilização da Terapia de Reminiscência tenha um papel positivo em quadros envolvendo estresse agudo.
