A CONTRIBUIÇÃO DE C. G. JUNG NA DETERMINAÇÃO DO ESTATUTO CIENTÍFICO DA PSICOLOGIA

Abstract

O presente artigo discute a contribuição da teoria de C. G. Jung na construção da Psicologia enquanto ciência moderna. Demonstra como o fundador da Psicologia Analítica reconhece a dificuldade da determinação do objeto da ciência psicológica, as relações possíveis da psicologia com concepções diversas de cientificidade e a proposta da noção de arquétipo como elemento que pode conferir caráter científico à Psicologia no âmbito das ciências modernas.

ABSTRACT

This article discusses the contribution of the theory of C. G. Jung in the construction of psychology as modern science. Demonstrates how the founder of Analytical Psychology recognizes the difficulty of determining the object of psychological science, psychology possible relationships with diverse conceptions of scientific and proposed the concept of archetype as an element that can confer a scientific character to the psychology in the context of modern science.
