ASSÉDIO MORAL E GERAÇÃO Y: ASPECTOS RELACIONADOS À AUSÊNCIA DE DENÚNCIA DE TRABALHADORES ASSEDIADOS

Resumo

O assédio moral é um tema de suma importância dentro da atualidade, principalmente devido às grandes mudanças que surgiram no ambiente de trabalho com a globalização, a qual gerou aumento de desemprego e concorrência. Tal cenário submeteu os trabalhadores a situações vexatórias diante das dificuldades em se posicionar no mercado de trabalho, cada vez mais exigente. Estudos realizados revelam que o equilíbrio psíquico e a saúde mental do indivíduo são afetados pelas pressões originadas pela organização do trabalho, podendo causar danos irreparáveis à saúde da vítima, pois, quando a pessoa é submetida a humilhações, pode manifestar doenças originadas do estresse causado pelo sentimento de extremo sofrimento, impotência e incapacidade a que a vítima de assédio é submetida. Demilitou-se o tema à Geração Y, por ser um mote atual e existir pouco material a respeito do assunto, o que permitirá relacionar características intrínsecas ao grupo. A questão analisada neste artigo é a identificação da causa da ausência de núncia do assédio moral na Geração Y e sua correlação com características do grupo. O método utilizado foram análises documentais e pesquisa de campo, que revelaram aspectos interessantes dessa relação.

ABSTRACT

Moral harassment is an issue of great importance nowadays, mainly due to the big changes that have emerged in work environment with globalization, which generated increased unemployment and competition. Such scenario has uploaded workers to embarrassing situations before the difficulties in positioning itself in the workplace, increasingly demanding market. Studies show that mental balance and mental health of the individual are affected by the pressures of how work is organized. It may cause irreparable damage to the health of the victim, because when a person is subjected to humiliation, he/she can manifest diseases which started by the stress caused by feeling extreme distress, helplessness and inability to which the victim is subjected to harassment. The theme was delimited for Generation Y because it is current and there is few material on the subject which will enable the group to relate intrinsic characteristics. In this article the mainly object is to identify the cause of the absence of any complaint f harassment from Generation Y and it correlation with characteristics of the group. The method used was documentary analysis and field research, which revealed interesting aspects of this relationship.
